LBK Policies

  • At check-in, you will receive a sticker for each child with their name on it and a parent sticker that have a matching code (this code changes every week).
If we need you for any reason during service, that code will be put on the bottom of the screen in the sanctuary so you know to come to the desk.

We require two adults to be present in the classroom in order for the class to open. If there are not two adults, we ask that parents line up along the wall until we get all of our teachers in the room. We do this for the safety of our teachers and your children so thank you for your patience!

To pick up your child, you must show the teacher your parent sticker so they can match the codes in order to ensure that the child is going to an approved adult.

A sibling must be 16 years or older to pick up your child. If someone comes to the door asking to pick up your child and they either don’t have the parent sticker and/or they are younger than 14, the child will not be released.

If you lose your parent sticker, let the teacher know and they will get the nearest children’s pastor to approve your child’s release.

  • If your child is in the yellow or orange room, we have diaper changing supplies and our teachers are prepared to handle diaper changes when necessary. If you would NOT like your child changed by one of our team members, please let them know at drop-off and we will be sure to put your code on the screen if your child needs to be changed.

If your child is in the green room and still in diapers, we do not have the ability to change them so we will call you back. There are changing tables in both the men’s and women’s bathrooms.

If your child is potty trained, there is a bathroom between the green and blue room. For the green room, their teacher will stand next to the door to be ready in case your child needs help.

If you would NOT like one of our teachers to assist your child, please let the teacher know and we will be sure to put your code up on the screen should they need help.

  • We often have photographers and videographers capturing footage on Sundays and during events. We share photos and video on social media as well as other print and web media.

If you do NOT wish for your child(ren)’s photo to be shared, please let our check-in team member or ministry leader know. If you see something out there with your child that you would like removed please let us know and we will promptly do so.
